It's a corn pickin'day..It's a corn pickin' day...It's a corn pickin' day ..Today! Well this years corn was less than half the amount of a normal season. Only a bit more than 40 dozen or so from Dad's garden. He watered it every day all day long and still it was such a dry summer. I am grateful for the hard working man that he is and how he does all his gardening for his kids. What a wonderful father!! We took our corn home this year and each family froze their own. That is what I did last night until 10pm. Blanch, Cut, Freeze. We will have yummy corn this winter. Thank-you dad for all your effort in your garden.
